As you all by now are craving an outfit post, and I wasn't able to post one in a while due to a lack of shooting time (it’s getting dark sooner every day) and my believe to only present you guys the best of the best, I didn't manage to make some cool new outfit posts for my dear readers. As I don’t want to leave you guys left behind with empty hands, I want to share a post I did a while ago. For the guessaccess blog I styled my favorite wardrobe staple; the classic trench coat. To see how I styled this wardrobe classic and to read about my love for fall, my replacement recommendation for winter, head on over to the Guess Access blog HERE.

Let’s talk shoes. As one who can admire the use of fun within the fashion industry, I was thrilled to see a young and very talented designer debut at the very first Shoe fashion show held in Amsterdam, which at the same time was a shoe competition for the shoe brand Clarks. The talented Amber Ambrose Aurèle tried to win the competition with her strong, yet fairytale like shoe designs. Unfortunately she lost the competition, but now another exiting challenge has crossed this lady’s path and time I think she deserves to win and with our help she can!

The very first show for me this fashion week season was the show of FRANCISCO VAN BENTHUM. The menswear label that is known for it’s elegant way of prevailing dress codes and restrictions in it’s vision on menswear, was this time honoring the constructivism - an art form from the period 1919-1934 in Russia.
The collection that is titled CON-STRUCT/FW14-15, was opened by loud electronically created beats, which created a dark, almost violent feel within the Westergasfabriek.
